Manoj Sharma (Nepal)

a soft glow
for a little while…
hovering clouds

Comment: a haiku with delicate and light tones (karumi 軽み) capturing a heavenly moment through a harmonizing juxtaposition (torihayasi 取はやし). In fact, the softness of light in the first ku is linked to the consistency of the clouds in line 3, counterbalancing to the weight (omomi 重み) of the events of the earthly world. A poem that wisely uses a suspensive effect (aizen 靄然) to grasps a convincing ‘haiku moment’.
